King Midas Terms of Service

Effective Date: November 21, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and KingMidas (“KingMidas,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using KingMidas.io, our apps, or any related products or services (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use KingMidas.

Eligibility

To use KingMidas, you must:

1. Be at least 18 years old
2. Be a U.S. resident
3. Have a valid U.S. bank or investment account
4. Agree to these Terms 
5. Determine eligibility for promotional rewards
6. Detect and prevent fraud
7. Provide customer support
8. Communicate with you about updates, features, and account changes
9. Comply with legal obligations

We do not permit minors under 18. We may require identity verification if necessary.

What KingMidas Is

KingMidas is a financial insights and analytics platform designed to help you understand your financial picture, trends, and habits. We provide analysis, reports, AI-generated insights, and your “KingMidas Score.”We use your information to:

KingMidas does not:
1. Give financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
2. Manage, hold, or transfer money
3. Execute trades
4. Recommend securities, investments, or financial products
5. Guarantee financial outcomes
6. Act as a financial advisor, fiduciary, or credit reporting agency

You alone are responsible for your financial decisions.

The KingMidas Score

The KingMidas Score is an educational financial wellness score for personal insight only.

It is not:
1. A credit score
2. A consumer report
3. A FICO score
4. A score used for lending decisions
5. A score used for employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility

We are not a credit bureau or a consumer reporting agency. Nothing in the Service may be used to determine creditworthiness or eligibility for any product or service.

Account Activation & Waitlist

If you join our waitlist, you will receive an activation email when the Service launches. To use KingMidas:

1. You must activate your account through the activation link we send
2. Activation must occur within the timeframe we specify
3. If you do not activate, your waitlist position expires
4. Activation does not guarantee promotional rewards

Connecting Your Financial Accounts (Plaid)

We use Plaid Technologies, Inc. (“Plaid”) to securely connect your financial accounts.

By connecting accounts, you authorize Plaid to share with us:
1. Account types
2. Balances
3. Transactions
4. Investment account data
5. Institution information

We do not receive or store your login credentials.Plaid’s use of your data is governed by Plaid’s own Terms and Privacy Policy.If you disconnect an account, certain features may stop working.

The $100 Reward Promotion

We may offer promotional rewards. Our current promotion:

A one-time $100 reward will be issued to the first 10 users who:
1. Join the KingMidas waitlist
2. Activate their account via the official activation email
3. Connect their financial accounts through Plaid
4. Make an investment deposit into a connected investment account
5. Are one of the first 10 users to complete this milestone

When 10 users complete the milestone, the promotion ends.

Additional rules:
1. No purchase necessary
2. Reward is not guaranteed
3. Reward is non-transferable
4. Fraud or duplicate accounts void eligibility
5. We may require identity verification
6. Investment deposits are verified through Plaid only
7. KingMidas may modify or cancel the promotion at any time

This is a general promotional reward, not a deposit bonus or investment incentive.

Subscriptions and Billing

We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans.

By subscribing, you agree to:
1. Pay the subscription price shown at checkout
2. Be charged immediately upon subscribing
3. Have your subscription automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel
4. Authorize KingMidas (through our payment providers such as Stripe) to store and charge your payment method
5. Institution information

Price changes:

1. Pay the subscription price shown at checkout
2. New prices apply only at your next renewal

Refunds:

1. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable
2. If required by law, we will provide refunds accordingly

Cancelling:

1. You may cancel anytime through your account settings
2. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund past charges

Payouts (Stripe)

Reward payouts may be processed through Stripe or similar providers.

By using the Service, you allow us to:
1. Create a Stripe customer profile for you
2. Use your linked bank or payment method for payouts
3. Contact you for verification if needed

Payout timing is not guaranteed.

AI-Generated Insights

KingMidas uses AI and large language models (“LLMs”) to create insights and explanations.

AI-generated information may be:
1. Inaccurate
2. Incomplete
3. Out-of-date
4. Misinterpreted

AI output is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.
You should never make financial decisions based solely on AI-generated content.
You use AI features at your own risk.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:AI-generated information may be:
1. Use KingMidas for illegal or fraudulent purposes
2. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
3. Interfere with the platform or security features
4. Scrape, crawl, or extract data without consent
5. Reverse-engineer the Service
6. Use bots or automation
7. Create multiple accounts
8. Provide false information

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

Third-Party Services

KingMidas relies on third parties (such as Plaid, Stripe, banks, brokerages, and analytics providers).

We are not responsible for:
1. Their availability
2. Their accuracy
3. Their errors, delays, or outages
4. Their security practices

Your interactions with third-party providers are solely between you and them.

DMCA Policy

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a DMCA notice to support@kingmidas.io.

We will review and respond in accordance with U.S. copyright law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

KingMidas is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:
1. Accuracy of financial or AI-generated data
2. Availability or uptime
3. Error-free operation
4. Financial outcomes
5. That insights or scores are correct or complete

You use KingMidas entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KingMidas, its founders, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes losses relating to:
1. Money, investments, or financial opportunities
2. Data errors or delays
3. Plaid, Stripe, banks, or third-party systems
4. AI-generated content
5. Subscription charges
6. Reward payouts
7. Platform downtime or bugs

If KingMidas is found liable despite this limitation, our total liability will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the past 12 months, which for most users is zero.

Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute between you and KingMidas will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis in San Francisco, California.

You agree that:
1. No class actions
2. No class arbitration
3. No jury trial
4. You and KingMidas each waive the right to participate in a class or representative action

If you don’t agree to arbitration, do not use KingMidas.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for any reason, including:
1. Violations of these Terms
2. Fraud or abuse
3. Attempts to manipulate the reward program

You may delete your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will notify you.
Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Arbitration occurs in San Francisco, California.
